TIMBER BOLT
Timber Bolt
A timber bolt (also known as a dome head or mushroom head bolt) is a heavy-duty fastener used in wood construction. It has a large, rounded head with fins or nubs under the head that bite into the wood, preventing rotation during tightening. Timber bolts are commonly used in timber framing, marine construction, and heavy wooden structures for strong, secure joints.
- Large dome/mushroom head provides a clean, low-profile finish
- Fins or nubs under the head prevent bolt rotation in wood
- Designed for heavy-duty load-bearing wooden assemblies
- Resistant to loosening, ensuring long-lasting secure joints
- Widely used in timber framing, bridges, docks, and marine construction
Surface Finish: Zinc Plating, Zinc Flake Coating, Blackening, Hot Dip Galvanisation or as per customer requirements.
